Description
Three Old Kegs inn and tavern, as well as gaming hall, has a total of six stories: two levels of cellars, two levels of stone floors, and two levels of wooden floors. The dining and drinking hall is located at first level and first cellar, while gaming hall of cards and dice can be found at the lowest basement. It is located at the calmer area of Baldur's Gate, but with quick access to the main road towards any district.
The atmosphere is very calm and cozy, with traditional old-style furnitures and comfortable house wares. Two dominant quirks of the inn are their collection of books, and the collection of tapestries that act as soundproof. It is indeed a very calm inn, very fitting for meditating, reading and drinking a hot beverage, or simply to sleep soundly.
Security is also maintained well, with polite but watchful innkeeper and staffs. Rumors have it that they are ex-adventurers who have grown tired of roaming the Faerun, and looking for a relaxing life by running a laidback tavern.
The beverages are top notch, with ale and mead of good quality. However, they do not offer good meals, just simple vegetable stew and bread for breakfast, lunch, dinner, supper, or anything else. Most people looks for better cuisine outside; they stay at Three Old Kegs because of its comfort and security, after all.
There is also some kind of bulletin board, that people often put some request or offer of quests. There are often adventurers who stay for a long time in the inn, thus attracted people in need of help to posts their plea on the board.
For adventurers who know one another or in the same mercenary charter, they can leave message to the bartender or the innkeeper. The staffs made sure that they put priority on the privacy of the message, over the contents or the importance of them.
Silver Saints
The mercenary charter get the room at the fifth floor, a total of 12 rooms. Fees are waived due to recommendations from Sylviana Silversnow, and the fact that a Truesilver is around.
Bulletin Board
Mission offer usually posted.
Message System
Can be used by PC to contact / leave message to another PC. Also can be used to explain what they do for their downtime period.
