Episode 0It was on that fated day, when a plea for help came from D'Arnise Keep. There was an incoming invasion of undead armies, and Lady Eleanor D'Arnise requested the adventurers to go through dangerous forests and caves to attack the enemies on their rear. The journey was perilous, however the adventurers managed to defeat the Hobgoblins leading the undead army. The adventurers also helped in routing the whole army by disrupting their chain-of-command. Unfortunately, the mastermind behind the attack fled, and no one took a glimpse of even the shadow. Session Logs

Episode 1The siege on D'Arnise Keep took many casualties, and Kayla also wounded that she need to be tended by Torm faithful servants. However the other adventurers were able to contribute in helping the refugees, starting by finding lost people in the woods. Bruno met a loyal wolf during the quest, and Hobgoblins also get caught. The adventurers went back and help with whatever they can, from cooking for the survivors, rebuilding the collapsed north wall, distributing food, and caring for the refugees. Lady Eleanor D'Arnise then shared reports concerning the siege, and proposed to the adventurers to form a new mercenary charter. After discussions, it is then decided to establish Silver Saints mercenary charter, officially sanctified to operate in Wester Heartlands, Sword Coasts, and Silver Marches. The leader is Michalla Truesilver, in hoping to ease the bureaucracy on travels, and to gain access to Cormyr and Inner Sea region if needed. The Silver Saints mercenaries started their journey to chase and investigate the mastermind behind the attacks. Latest reports showed that the mastermind fled north, so there are possibilities to gain tracks or informations, or rumors regarding his or her activities, by operating in the metropolis Baldur's Gate. The Silver Saints then go to ports of Athkatla, looking for ship passage that can bring them to Baldur's Gate. With the help of old acquaintance, the Silver Saints met captain Sylviana Silversnow, who agreed to take them to Baldur's Gate. The journey was interrupted by sea eancounter with Wyverns, but the wyverns were not a threat to the group. Finally they reached Baldur's Gate, with some promising allies already gained in Torm temple, Waukeen temple, and Three Old Kegs inn. Session Logs

Episode 2Year of the Voyage, 2nd of LeaffallKayla, Incendie, and Vinan wakes up and started to prepare their day, while Chin just got back from the Tarkit. They started to prepare several gears for themselves, while Vinan spotted about the quest of Prospecting an Abandoned Mine. Long story short, they accepted the quest from Caulberth, an elf from Alchemist's Guild, to clear an Orc who made their lair at an abandoned mine. After traveling north, the party encountered a hamlet being burnt by Orc raiders. They defeated the raiders eventually, and saved two survivors. While considering the survivors' safety, they also press forward to inspecting the mines, since there are also several other hamlets near the mine. The remaining two hamlets were destroyed wholly, and there was nothing they can do; it was even destroyed before they reach Baldur's Gate. However on the last hamlet, they spotted someone might set defenses against the sudden Orc raiding party, and might have sent alarm to the city. What remains is a final showdown with the Orc raiders, who did not suspected the party's offensive. They took out most remaining Orc easily, but one Orc managed to slip away and somehow summoned a demon, who consumed himself as its first victim. The fight between the demon and the party is unavoidable, and it ended by the berserking Vinan who stabbed and slashed and assaulted the demon in a bit frenzied state. The demon sent back to the Abyss, but it will never forget the face of the human female who put an end to its short time in the material world. The group went back to Baldur's Gate after making sure the mine is completely sealed, and some of the party found similar resemblances with previous encounter. After all, as Chin also stated, an Orc is not a race capable of demonic rituals; it is as if someone taught these group. Yet the answer is still hidden, just like the 'mastermind' they chase from the siege of D'Arnise Keep. Meanwhile, along the way, the party encountered several other hamlets, and met the survivors' relatives who accepted the survivors as family. After making sure the survivors are on a safe hand, the Silver Saints returned to report to Caulberth, who non-empathically reward the party, and asked them to leave. The group, exhausted and tired and emotionally drained, decided to call it a day. Session Logs

[SideQuest] Missing Priest of WaukeenYear of the Voyage, 3rd~6th of LeaffallRomero spent several times helping the temples and the poor, while Bruno was actively looking for information regarding orcs/goblins/undead activities on the taverns. Kayla went to her temple early in the morning, and each of them heard rumors regarding missing priest of Waukeen, along with several other adventurers. Silver Saints then decided to look at this issue, and offered a help. The missing priest was worried of his acquaintance who 'took a wrong path', and went to Candlekeep; however the priest and his companions never reached Candlekeep, and never went back to Baldur's Gate. Silver Saints then followed the trails, and reached Friendly Arms Inn, just between Baldur's Gate and Candlekeep. At the Friendly Arms Inn, the Silver Saints mercenaries gathered some information, and collectively realized several things. First, there are increased activities of Orcs and Goblinoids in the region, and it seems the Flaming Fist Mercenaries, who are supposed to patrol the area, had their hands full. Second, the Waukeen priest and his companion went from Friendly Arms Inn safe and sound. Third, nothing is 'utterly suspicious' on the inn. The group then continued their journey towards Candlekeep, and finally found trails of the priest. At the end of the trails, the group fought with several Aberrations, and found the deceased as well as several foul summoning markings, along with several magic items. Session Logs

[SideQuest] The Mysterious Man Under the HoodYear of the Voyage, 3rd~6th of LeaffallChin spent a lot of time strolling around the city of Baldur's Gate, and remembered most if not all of the roads and paths inside the city, along major landmarks. He also met a mysterious man with a hood near a mansion, and they shared several chats especially regarding the situations in Baldur's Gate. Later, Chin also joined the man for a quest, while actually it is just a ploy from the man to go out from Baldur's Gate. However, through sheer luck (or misfortune), they arrived at a hamlet under attack of a stray giant. They defeated the giant, and after that both of them part ways. Session Logs

[SideQuest] Clearing the Orc CampYear of the Voyage, 6th~7th of MarpenothChin met Kayla, Sera, Bruno, and Vinan at the streets of Baldur's Gate, and then they went back to the inn to have dinner. They also shared informations while at it. The next day a client is requesting the Silver Saints to clear an Orc camp, which they accepted. Bruno tracked the Orc camp easily, and they eliminated the cunning Orcs. However, the Silver Saints also found that the Orc group did not possess any demonic/undead/aberration; only spellcasting ability. They also found traces of conflict, presumably with other Orc group. They then leapt to help the caravan, yet they also met two formidable people at the caravan: an alchemist gnome, capable of good archery, and a flame wielding ascetic monk. [SideQuest] Flaming Fists CalamityYear of the Voyage (1398 DR), Marpenoth / LeaffallSilver Saints mercenaries finally decided to visit the Flaming Fists Mercenary HQ regarding the mission on fighting the Goblinoids. They are welcomed by Ophelia, a knight from Flaming Fists, who also briefed them about the mission. Using persuasions, the Silver Saints were able to got information regarding current state of the Flaming Fists mercenary. Apparently they are on a losing war, and many members have perished; even their guild leader, the Grand Duke of Baldur's Gate is missing too. The Silver Saints decided to help, starting with removing an encampment and scouting the next one. The encampment housed a good number of Hobgoblins, supported by some Skeletons. The Silver Saints dealt with them decisively and even captured a Hobgoblin alive; however Kayla was wounded by strange twist of arrows around her. After the battle, Vinan experimented something and the group realized that Kayla now attracts projectiles aimed to anyone around her. The Silver Saints group then proceed to scout the next encampment, which Bruno saw was in fire. Upon arrival, the group encountered a devastated encampment, with mutilated hobgoblins, as if attacked by mob of angry, untrained people; albeit it is impossible to be happening, and there seems to be something and somehow distracting the hobgoblins during the fight. Incendie spotted a peculiar tear of cloth, and kept it. They found no other signs, so the Silver Saints decided to check the hamlet near the camp. At the hamlet they encountered a cheerful community of humans, who claimed to have defeated the hobgoblins. Those people also clarified the fate of unfortunate Flaming Fists mercenaries, as well as several Paladins and adventurers, in their quest to eliminate the enemies. However, those people also spoke about a charming, ascetic traveling wise man, who preach about order and how to defend themselves. This wise man apparently also led the villagers in defeating the hobgoblins. However, the villagers are not telling more about this wise man, and when Bruno tried to intimidate them to speak, they startled and pulled themselves back, and closed the door of their society to Silver Saints, forever. [SideQuest] The Dead Pest Strikes BackYear of the Voyage (1398 DR), Last Days of MarpenothKayla just went out to temple of Torm for personal matters when an invitation letter for Michin arrives. Michin then also invites Sera, Gully, and Bruno, to join a feast held by a nearby hamlet at the outskirts of Baldur's Gate. They all went to the hamlet and enjoyed a good rural atmosphere, nice and comfy, and had a good time with the locales. But suddenly Sundere became alert, and dashed towards nearby woods. The Silver Saints followed immediately. They found Sundere was dragging a victim chased by two Ogre Zombies away, so a short battle erupted. Sera spotted a hobgoblin fled the scene, and later after they defeated the Ogre Zombies, the group was unable to chase the hobgoblin, who fled into a cave and set a cave-in to seal the path. Fortunately, they were able to tend the wounded victim, who was a surviving Flaming Fist mercenary. Escorting the valuable information back to Flaming Fist HQ, the group then take a rest from dangerous missions. Session Logs

[SideQuest] Orcs and FiendsYear of the Voyage (1398 DR), Uktar (The Rotting)There was a mission offered by the Flaming Fist mercenary to perform a patrol on northern road between Baldur's Gate and Cormyr, and Silver Saints accepted it. They were able to prevent several Orcish raids and protected numerous hamlets for several days. After seeing the pattern, Bruno realizes that there must be some kind of Orc camp nearby, and the group decided to remove it for good, in order to prevent more raids. The Silver Saints then proceed to track this camp, and managed to outsmart the Orcs and almost had a flawless victory, until finally the Orcs managed to put up a good fight. The final attacks of the remaining Orcs were troubling each of the Silver Saints; however the real trouble was the sudden appearance of a fiend, which droning sound put several members into slumber instantly. Fortunately, the Silver Saints were able to banish the demon back to the Abyss. Due to the tactics that tricked the Orcs, there were many treasures -items raided from nearby hamlets- and also a curious document: A scroll on summoning Demon written in Orcish, while originally it should have been written in Draconic. The scroll also transcribed as if it uses Gruumsh's power, or the Orc god, while the semantics and language used were a bit off, as if the statement was added in the translated version. After the camp is properly secured, the Silver Saints started to return the treasures, and trying to gather more information. However they only found that on the most eastern hamlet of their patrol, there were also rumors of beautiful traveler who inspired the villagers to take arms, defend themselves, be confident on their strength, and to organize their society well. Strikingly familiar to another hamlet. Witnessing that intimidation did not work, Incendie decided to try another approach, and the villagers told the group about general appearance of the traveler, and about a specific symbol; then the villagers realized their over-eagerness and stopped talking about it. On their way back, Vinan, Bruno, and Incendie shared their thoughts about the villagers' doubt on Flaming Fist, Paladins, and adventurers who protected the area for a long time already, since lately these protectors was fighting a losing battle. Vinan also pointed out the fanaticism of the villager towards their new belief. Bruno also pointed out that the two (three, as Incendie remembered) hamlets or village with similar attitude -and some hidden armbands- located far from Baldur's Gate, towards the east. With more question, and a strange scroll in hand, they returned to the Baldur's Gate, spending a whole tenday of operation. Situation in Baldur's Gate is already different by then. Session Logs

A Twist of FateYear of the Voyage (1398 DR), Uktar (The Rotting)A gloom mood covers Baldur's Gate, and the Silver Saints performing their daily activities, as if nothing really changed much. The Flaming Fist mercenary thanked the Silver Saints for providing support in defending a string of hamlets from possible Orcish raids, by removing a whole Orc camp. However, it is not sufficient to fully tackle the problems. As the Silver Saints members tried to gather more information, one small move made a new rumor spread: that Grand Duke Eltan, the Flaming Fist leader, is missing. Now, this bad news spreads like fire, and who knows what will it bring to Baldur's Gate. Session Logs

[SideQuest] Expel the OrcsYear of the Voyage (1398 DR), Uktar (The Rotting)After the rumors about Grand Duke Eltan spread, the Baldur's Gate city is not getting better. The Flaming Fist mercenary also seemed to be at loss on what should they do, especially with local pressure to focus on protecting the city and forfeiting neighboring hamlets. The Silver Saints decided to gather some information. Michin visited an old friend at the hamlet outside Baldur's Gate, and the mysterious hooded man told him about a possibility that Grand Duke Eltan might take refugee somewhere near Elturel, if the Grand Duke went to the place. Sera, Vinan, and Roadrick found a trace of 'the traveler' who has reached Baldur's Gate and told news about missing Silvershield caravans on the east. Meanwhile, Kayla and Bruno convinced Ophelia to take action, and helped her in deciding the next action: to eliminate the Orcs first. Thus the Silver Saints participated in the offensive, and it was successful. However, on one of the Orc camp, the Silver Saints finally encountered one of the 'traveler', a beautiful lady who charmingly emboldened the villagers to perform many difficult tasks, including attacking the Orcs and executing them. She then left the Silver Saints and walked towards the west. Session Logs
